What was the Sky Gamepad?
The Sky Gamepad was a video game controller released in 2003 to promote the Sky Gamestar interactive gaming services.
They come with a separate battery-powered infrared receiver that connects to the Sky box to ensure no signal inteference between the gamepad(s) and a conventional remote.
2 Player Starter Pack
Because Sky Gamestar did in fact support up to 4 players, they were also released as bundles containing two Gamepads and the aforementioned infrared receiver.
