Already a major manufacturer of set top boxes in the days of the analogue service, Pace were the first official manufacturers of Sky Digiboxes, with many Pace BSkyB 2200 units being manufactured well before the service's October 1998 launch. Pace's last box for Sky was the HD TDS850NB.

This is where it all started for Sky Digital hardware. These boxes were the earliest to be installed, and were often used on installations close to the launch of the service. Generally reliable, but known for tuner and PSU issues.

This is a second revision of the Pace BSkyB 2200, with a slightly improved CPU. Other than that, extremely similar to the TP2 revision.

BSkyB 25000S3 (2001)

This was the first STI5512-based box from Pace, which bought significant performance improvements. These boxes are generally reliable and are small and compact.

BSkyB 1000 'Sky Minibox' (2002)

Only built for a year and offered as a Multiroom box, the 1000 is considered one of the most sought after Sky Digiboxes of all time. This is because it has a 12v power supply connection, something that no other Digibox utilised. These boxes also had a severe yellowing issue on their casing,

DS445NB - MTV Skeleton Edition (2006)

This special DS445NB was given out as part of a special Sky Multiroom promotion, with a special glossy finish and matching remote control. Being a final generation 'flow' style Digibox, it is highly reliable and very fast.

The first Sky+ PVR available, commonly known as a PVR1. Despite its large size, it is a quiet and fast box to use.

The PVR2 line brought significant improvements to the design of the Sky+ box. The 3100 is also a fast, reliable box with no major known issues.

These Sky+ boxes were available at Selfridges locations around the UK for a very short time in 2004. This design is thought to be the 'Flower Print' by Cath Kidston, but information is sparse on these units.

The TDS470N is commonly thought to be the best PVR3 box available, with quiet and fast operation. This is one of the first boxes to support the Anytime TV service.

BSkyB3100 - Refurbished PVR2.1 (2006/7?)

These were refurb Sky+ boxes, all of which were former standard PVR2 Pace 3100 boxes. The unique feature is that these are only one of two boxes with a factory -fit 160GB drive with all of the space available to the user.
